Description

We are an old program in a new space! Most of us have worked together at a former program that was in existence since 1974. At St. Luke’s Hospital, residents rotate in a 300 bed state-of-the-art community-based medical center and interact with an accomplished residency faculty that includes six full-time directors and an inter-professional care team. Our hospital is family medicine friendly and unopposed. Our team includes strong Obstetrical and Osteopathic focused faculty, a full-time Family Medicine Residency Trained Clinical Pharmacist, a full-time Behavioral Scientist, Geriatric Social Worker, and Allied Health Professionals. We provide protected, peer-centric wellness time as part of your weekly curriculum. We are committed to developing the most pluripotent family physicians, that is, residents who can differentiate in to any type of family physician you envision becoming. Former residents have differentiated into the full spectrum of family physicians from rural physicians who deliver babies to CEO's of accountable care organizations and physicians for a Big 10 team. Our track programs focus on Osteopathic Medicine, Sports Medicine, Academic Medicine, Global Health, Rural Health and specialty areas as tailored to your interests.
